Yerga Kebede import & export wasestablished in September 2010 and was duly registered undercommercial registration and Business license proclamation number686/2010. The company has been in the import & export businessalmost for five years. During these years the company had exportedmore than 30,000 metric tons oil seeds, pulses, and spices. Ourexport business has shown a tremendous growth year afteryear.Five years in the business helps us to developproven and tested management knowledge, skills, experience, andorganizational system. We have also developed wide network ofcontact with customers and other stakeholders. The companyhas already built three warehouses (one in Humera site andtwo in Addis Ababa) with a storage capacity of 150,000 quintals ata time. This enables us to meet an ever increased demand of storage requirements. Besides, all warehouses areequipped with the state of the art cleaning machinetechnologies.One of the essential elements in the exportsupply chain is transport. Taking this into consideration thecompany has acquired about 5 heavy duty trucks. It uses its owntrucks to ship cargoes from ECX warehouse to company’s warehouseand thereby to port of loading. Having its own trucks helps thecompany to reduce its delivery time and increases customer’sresponse time.Moreover, we have developed a well-organized network supplier- customer relationship that is spreadover the world. Number of buyers of our products increasesfrom year to year and some of them have already established astrategic partnership with the company that ensures stable andsustainable product demand.
