Is the Gold tone Jewelry Pure Gold? - Our Gold Plating process utilizes 18Kt, with a double bath for a greater thickness than most brands in the fashion jewelry industry.
Is the Silver Jewelry Sterling Silver? -Most of our silver toned jewelry is Rhodium Plated. Rhodium is a hard metal derivative of platinum. It will never tarnish like sterling silver so our jewelry is always shiny and beautiful. Vermeil jewelry where silver 925 is the base metal is also available.
What makes Sabrina crystals and natural stones unique and brilliant?- All of our natural crystals and semi-precious gem stones are products of Brazil and are hand cut by our lapidary team for perfection in house and are painstakingly set by hand.
Crystals sparkle comes from the natural refraction of light. Our cubic zirconium stones are the worlds most perfect synthetic crystal and are manufactured in Austria. Ours are cut into a total of 58 facets, giving Sabrina crystals the same reflective qualities as a perfect 4C diamond.
Sabrina also utilizes both the Pave and a Wax/Out technique when setting their stones in their jewelry pieces.
What is Pave? - Pave comes from the French word pavement, which means that small crystal stones are set very closely together in rhodium so that the setting is no longer visible. The more stones that are used, the more faceted surfaces there are, creating a more reflective and sparkly piece.
How are our Cubic Zirconiums set?- Our wax drop out process was developed by the companies founder Ademar Fakri Vasconcelos. This is when the cubic zirconium are set by hand onto a wax mold then cast into a ceramic material. This stop off technique improves how the stones are set, embedding the crystals into the base metal greatly enhancing the quality of the final product.
What kind of care does Sabrina Jewelry require? The use of jewelry cleaners is not recommended. Occasional polishing with a soft cotton cloth to remove dirt and fingerprints is all the care that is usually required. Crystal pieces or other ornaments may be cleaned with a cotton cloth or a small soft brush. Heavily soiled items may be carefully cleaned with lukewarm water and a gentle neutral soap.
Is there a Warranty on Sabrina Jewelry? All of Sabrina products are meticulously hand crafted. However, if any defects in craftsmanship or in the materials appear, Sabrina offers for each piece purchased from authorized Sabrina retailers, a one year limited warranty covering material and manufacturing defects under normal use. Items will be replaced, or substituted with an item of comparable value with proof of purchase.
What Base Metals are Used? - Sabrina utilizes high quality Brass as its base metal guaranteeing all our jewelry is Nickel Allergy Free, next a layer of Palladium is applied for protection. Finally a layer of precious metal either Gold or Rhodium finishes the pieces. Neither finish will dull or tarnish. Unlike most other costume jewelry, what touches your skin is all real gold and is layered so heavily that it is highly unlikely your skin will sense the base.
