Currently headquartered in a historic train station in Smithsburg, MD, Vessel International, Inc. was founded as a partnership in October 1990 by its current owners. They incorporated the company on March 1, 1996. Vessel International's mission is to import and wholesale high-quality Baltic amber jewelry to retailers in the United States and abroad. The company cooperates with 30 different Polish producers and design studios, as well as a number of Lithuanian and Russian companies. Marketing and sales efforts are achieved through trade show participation, magazine adbertising, extensive catalog circulation, an active website, direct mailings, and strong sales calls.
Since 1999, Vessel International has been a charter member of the International Amber Association and therefore, is a certified and recommended company enitiled to use its logo. Moreover, the membership guarantees that Vessel sells only genuine, gem-quality amber and adheres to fair trading customs.
We are wholesale to the trade only, and must therefore have a copy of your Sales Permit or Tax Resale Certificate on file.
The minimum order for new customers is $200, and $100 for returning customers or reorders.
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 72 hours, although many go same day.
Standard shipping is UPS Ground service for the continental USA. Rush service, FedEx, DHL, USPS is also available upon request.
If you are not fully pleased with your selections, please call us within 10 days of receipt of your order for a return authorization. We will replace the piece (if possible) or credit your account.
For your company's and customer's protection Vessel does carry product liability insurance.
