Zhejiang Hengshan Industrial & Trading Co., Ltd. was established in 2001, transformed from a state-owned enterprise. Now it has become an enterprise where production and trade are combined, featured by a new management model, excellent product quality, a strong sense of service and an inspiring prospect. The predecessor of the company was a state major ferroalloy production base, named Zhejiang Hengshan Ferroalloy Factory, which used to produce chrome series products for half a century, and one of its products Micro-carbon Ferrochrome was awarded a national silver medal.Zhejiang Hengshan Industrial & Trading Co., Ltd. has 3 ferrochrome manufacturing factories and 1 import & export company under itself. The factories possess 8 ore-smelting furnaces with power rates above 6,300 KVA, and 3 finery furnaces with power rates of 3,500 KVA. The annual capacity of ferrochrome of the 3 factories is altogether 100,000 metric tons. And their major products are ferrochromes of high-carbon, medium-carbon, low-carbon and micro-carbon, which are widely used in metallurgy, mechanism, chemistry, military industry and light industry, etc. These products are mainly supplied to Chinese domestic manufacturers of special steel and stainless steel, and some are exported. The import & export company under the head office imports chrome ores and has established business relationships with suppliers in South Africa, Iran, India, Oman, Turkey, etc. Through many years of hard work, the whole company has accumulated rich experience in both production and trading, and therefore acquired great achievements in this line.
