Zeynep akpolat designer jewellery is dedicated to create unique, art jewellery from fine silver(.999 karat).
All items are hand-fabricated unique artwork which shows our designer's, zeynep akpolat's, fascination with metal and traditional metalsmithing techniques which, in her work, result in enchanting reflections of light in the depths of the texture on metal in her work.
From design to fabrication to finishing, each original piece is carefully handcrafted one-by-one with painstaking precision and skill. Each piece begins as either sheet metal or wire. Then techniques such as sawing, texturing, soldering, hammering, chasing and repousse are employed to complete the design and construction.
By using different kinds of material, like copper, textile, sequin and semi-precious stones, with fine silver the designer's modern and simplistic approach to jewelry is incorporated with the traditional techniques in a playful and fun manner.
