Wattsud is a firm existing since 1949 that has developed its core business in the instrument transformers design , manufacturing low and medium voltage range.
Nowadays it is recognised as a leader in its field in Italy and worldwide. Its very high manufacturing standards are guaranteed by final and online controls during every stage of the production cycle, certified according to ISO 9001.
In addition to regular quality controls through the manufacturing process, Wattsud carries out at the 100% of the check on the final products, performing most of the type tests and all the other prescribed by the IEC, IEE and the Russian standard GOST.
All the transformers are entirely designed and manufactured by Wattsud internally which is certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 for the quality and 14001 for the environmental management system.
Wattsud current and voltage transformers cover the insulation range from 0,72 to 40 kV.
Low voltage CT's are mainly ring-core types in either cast resin or tape insulation.
Medium voltage CT's and VT's are all produced with high quality under vacuum cast resins.
