The facilities of Vanet were established in Van in 1977 as aproject of World Bank. The company had been first founded by thecollaboration of leader Turkish banks and Special ProvincialAdministration of Van. The first integrated meat plant of thecompany was founded in 1985 and the production started in 1988. Inour facility, having 63.0000 m2 facility land, 24.000 m2 of indoorarea, ovine and bovine stock farming are main fields of activityand also there is a turkey breeding farm is established. In ourslaughterhouse, there is a daily slaughtering and chopping capacityof 240 bovine, 1250 ovine stocks and 4000 turkeys. In ourdelicatessen production line, 20 tons of various sausage, salami,fried meat, ham, and dried meat are daily produced.
