U. S. S. Engineering (Pvt. ) Ltd. was established in 1980 with the objective of catering for the expanding opportunities in the areas of Power Transmission and Telecommunication Engineering work. Today, after 28 years we have become a major supplier of Hardware items required for Electrical Transmission and Distribution as well as Telecommunication. We are an ISO 9001: 2000 quality certified company for Manufacturing and Galvanizing of Fittings, Fixtures, Fasteners, Earth Rods and Fabrication and Galvanizing of Structures as per customer requirements. Besides we have diversified our activities to Construction projects in the fields of Civil, Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering work Manufacturing of Concrete Poles and Import and Supply of Electrical and Telecommunication accessories.
Over the years of existence the company has secured a lot of highly competitive Public Tenders, which were open to both local & foreign bidders. Today we have developed facilities to meet the demands of our clients. Among the facilities we own for catering the clients demands are Hardware items manufacturing factory, Bolts & Nuts Manufacturing Plant, Galvanizing Plant, Concrete Pole Casting Plant, Transport Fleet etc. ,
Presently we are the main supplier for many hardware items to the CEB. For some items our share is more than 90% .
The main clients and customers of the company are government authorities and agencies such as Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Lanka Telecom Ltd. , Lanka Electricity Company, Sri Lankan Airline and Ministry of Health. We have achieved this prestigious position due to our continued commitment to quality, punctuality and customer satisfaction.
These achievements were made possible through the dedication of our 250 strong staff in managerial, supervisory and operating cadres.
