Our company, URDET S.A., specialized since 1989 in the production of conserved mushrooms and truffles, is situated in the piedmont of the Catalan Pyrenees, in the Vall de Lord region, where the mushrooms and truffles are known and harvested from many centuries ago, and where local people traditionally recollect such autumn,s fruits as to enjoy the search of these occult fruits and to eat them in family: people know how to recollect and care the mushrooms as to preserve the maximum taste and flavour.
We like to continue such traditional care for these nature,s gifts, and we guarantee the quality of our products as to meet the highest standards which are demanded by gourmet experts: the visual aspect of the product, and the perfect blend of ingredients by our know-how give as result ready products valued by its attractiveness and the degree of conservation of its qualities.
We care that mushrooms are always selected and cleaned; in our blends we don,t add low quantities of costly products as to misgiving the final consumers, and our techniques are specially conceived as that the consumer will get the product in perfect conditions, we don,t like to offer mass-like products or chopped portions; even we reject to use artificial preservatives or additives. We must and like to follow EU food directives as to offer healthy products for all the family.
The products that we could offer:
Mushrooms in can (0.5 or 3 kg.): porcini or cepes (B. edulis), chantareles, morels, forest mix, black trumpets, fairy-ring mushrooms (Marasmius oreades), oyster mushrooms.
Mushrooms in jar (320, 370, 720 or 2000 ml.): porcini or cepes (B. edulis), chantareles, morels, forest mix.
Marinated mushrooms in jar (320, 370, 720, or 2000 ml.): chantereles, forest mix, lactarius.
Mushrooms for aperitif in olive oil aromatized with Mediterranean herbs (jar 150 ml. or can 1kg.): porcini or cepes (B. edulis), chantareles, forest mix.
Truffles with its sauce (jar 50 ml. or can 0.5 kg.): melanosporum, aestivium, indicum.
Dehydrated mushrooms (jar 320 ml. or plastic bag of 250 grm.): porcini or cepes (B. edulis), chantareles, morels, yellow foot (C. lutescens), St. Georges, forest mix, fairy-ring mushrooms (Marasmius oreades), black trumpets.
Mushroom powder (jar 70 ml.): porcini or cepes (B. edulis), chantareles, morels, St. Georges mushrooms, forest mix, fairy-ring mushrooms (Marasmius oreades), black trumpets.
Conserved Mediterranean specialities in jar (320, 720, or 2000 ml.): Escalivada, grilled and peeled red sweet peppers, aubergines and onions in olive oil; and Samfaina, the Catalan ratatouille.
