Tiny Mirrors Limited was established in 1989 by Mr Zaid Nsubuga and Ms Hawa Lule and is located on Plot 17 Old Masaka Road, Nalukolongo industrial area, Kampala, Uganda.
We sell organic white maize (Non GMO) purchased from small scale farmers all over Uganda then machine cleaned, dried and packed to international standard by us.
Our companys reputation has been built on the following principles:
1) The use of modern cleaning and drying machines to process our maize effectively before supplying it to customers.
2) Insisting that farmers apply clean post harvest handling of maize supplied to us.
3) Investing in high quality storage warehouses.
4) Working with a good team of people the life blood of our business.
We employ up to 50 people depending on the number of orders we are processing.
We handle orders as follows:
1) The customer requests for a quotation and is sent an offer with a sample (if requested).
2) The customer then negotiates, accepts the final offer and signs the Performa invoice.
3) SGS (Independent Inspection and Verification agent) is contacted by the customer to come and check the quality and quantity of maize in our ware house. Alternatively the customer can send a representative to our warehouse.
4) The customer makes a deposit payment of 30% to confirm the order.
5) Once the order is ready for shipment our customer makes a second deposit payment of 70% of the order value.
6) The maize is loaded and shipped to the customer with all accompanying documents.
Please note that all orders are fulfilled on a first come first serve basis so customers are encouraged to confirm orders as soon as possible through payment of the 30% deposit.
We meet the standards set by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards and welcome third parties (inspectors and verifiers) approved by our customers to supervise our operations.
Our monthly output volume is 2000 Metric Tonne and our main customers include the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
