Nine Color Co., Ltd. is a research company focusing on the chemistry for the Earth, balanced development with the nature and eco-friendly lacquer paint and developed applied products by researching Ott-chil (lacquer) from lacquer trees naturally grown in the Korean peninsula, as well as in China and in Japan, including Panax-Gold from Dendropa-nax Morbifera lev in the warm-temperature forest on the southeast part of Korea.Nine color means the seven colors of the rainbow, gold from panax-gold, and black from the lacquer with the 9C (nine color or GuChae) and shows the foundation of the company focusing on the environment and the harmony with the nine colors.The natural lacquer from the ancient era has many advantages including antibacterial, anti-insect, weather resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance, water resistance, chemical resistance, adhesiveness, removing the total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), humidity regulation, fingerprint resistance (clarity), and blocking EMP and water veins but everyone has not used due to allergic reactions. Even worse, the lacquer has black surface and cannot express vivid colors and discolors by the reaction with other pigments. Also, it has very difficult drying conditions, limiting to use as an industrial pigment.The company especially treats the lacquer to emphasize the advantages and improve the defects to produce eco-friendly industrial paint and coating materials and other related products after passing various clinical tests for several years, minimizing allergic reactions in use and providing safe products.
