I have been engaging in rice farming for 40 years as a descendant of a family of rice farm for 450 years in one village, and planted out the rice fortunately with the rice transplanter since 1977. When I have sowed the rice seeds by hand on about 100pyong in 1990 to reduce labor costs in installed and handling seedlings, the growth of rice became better and the direct seeding was efficient as if the rice had been transplanted. I developed one seeder to test direct seeding in 1991 and offered the rice transplanter to the market from 1993. But with difficulties because of its incompleteness, I supplemented it and have finally succeeded in direct seeding from 1998.I changed the tiller with 2 wheels into the one with 4 wheels and in 1999 and the multipurpose machine with 3 wheels for the old and the women in 2001. In addition, this machine can generate many labor effects by cultivating rice up to 20 ha (60,000 pyong) per one person if invested on the field including fertilizer and agricultural chemicals sprinkling.
