Sookie Active, branch of Sookie Sewing Services LLC, is a U.S.manufacturing company specializing in the production of basicleotards and costume components. Our products are manufacturedmade-to-order for distributors, specialty retail stores,instruction schools, cheer squads, and exercise organizations. Allfabrics, thread, embroidery, and trims used in our products areproduced by American mills. For over 15 years our company hasprovided cut and sew services to the most prestigious dance wearand swim wear manufacturers in the world. We are currently thelargest U.S. cut and sew service for The Perform Group, makers ofCurtain Call and Alpha Factor brands. We have provided service toElite Sportswear and Dolfin International, world leaders ingymnastic and swim wear apparel. Through our relationship withthese high-end manufacturers our service has made its way to TheOlympics and College and Pro Sports. Our 65, 000 square footmanufacturing facility in Lebanon, Pennsylvania employs 25dedicated individuals and is equipped with over 70 specializedindustrial machines. In 2005 we acquired the nylon leotard businessfrom Hellam Hosiery Company, re-styled the patterns to meet theneeds of today's active dancers and gymnasts, and beganmanufacturing our own line of leotards. We filled orders for over400, 000 items in the last 3 years.
