The product in itself is not suitable for direct consumption. As a binding agent it is used in the production of food articles such as : dry bakery goods, pies, blancmange, desserts, sauces and mayonnaises. It is also used in the production of canned food, concentrates, powdered soups, and also glue and paper products.
