Silicon Display was found in early 2000. The aim of this company is to do service for R&D of TFT displays such as active-matrix liquid-crystal display (AMLCD) and AM organic light-emitting display. Most of small and medium companies working in the area of TFT-LCD, TFT-OLED, finger-print image sensors and digital X-rays do not have the facilities required for the TFT processes. This company would like to do R&D foundary services for those companies This company has such potentials as simulation of AMLCD, AMOLED, and image sensors, design of those devices, CAD of the TFT arrays, processes of the TFT arrays in a clean room, characterization of the TFT devices, fabrication of those displays using the TFT arrays processed in this company.
