Sichuan Aerospace Tuoxin Basalt Industries Co. Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specialized in the Research & Development, manufacture and distribution of high-performance basalt fiber and basalt fiber products, as well as in complete technology and equipment for basalt fiber making and projects. Sichuan Aerospace Tuoxin Basalt Industries Co. Ltd is located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, and it is owned by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), which is one of two largest aerospace enterprises in China.
Sichuan Aerospace Tuoxin Basalt Industries Co. Ltd. was established in 2002 in Chengdu Economy Development Zone with an area about 70,000sqm and 280 employees in total. Sichuan Aerospace Tuoxin Basalt Industries Co., Ltd. is the first company in China to get involved in Research& Development of basalt fiber. Industrialized production of basalt fiber has achieved.
At present, our company owns 16 basalt fiber production lines which achieve an annual output of 3,000 Tons. Additional 12 new production lines have been finished at the end of August 2011. The annual production capacity at the end of 2011 will increase to 5,000 Tons. According to our development plan, the annual production capacity of basalt fiber will increase to 50,000 Tons in the year 2015.
From the year of 2006, Sichuan Aerospace Tuoxin Basalt Industries Co., Ltd. has be engaged in the manufacturing technology of continuous basalt fiber and the research of basalt fiber products with the TX-1 complete production line. This has been appraised and approved by Science Technology Bureau of Sichuan China. Automation has been applied in furnace temperature control, furnace chamber flame monitoring, temperature uniformity control of bushing plate, and the protection when power failure happens.
In this world today, only a few countries are capable of producing continuous basalt fiber and basalt products, and most of them are under way. In China, China Sichuan has independently developed TX-1 complete production line under the technology of Gas Electricity Combination Mode (GECM), which has been called by Western competitors as a new module style and can be upgraded by combining jumbo furnace with multiple bigger bushing plates so as to increase production capacity. Such technology of equipment manufacture also fits the development trend of low energy consumption and promotes the development of basalt fiber technology.
