Mr. Polat founded his own company called seyfettin polat steel in 1979. The company continues its business in ship construction industry since 30 years.
In 1992, the company added other products to its portfolio. It started to sell quenched and tempered steels such as structural steel plates, wear resistant steel plates and protection plates. Today, there are more than 15 different products and 9 brands imported from foreign countries (e. G. Sweden, Italy, Germany, France, and Finland) in its portfolio.
