The output of the paper manufacturing process includes industrial jumbo tissue rolls that are used as input by tissue converters for the production of facial, kitchen and toilet tissue paper. SPMC's ambition to become a fully integrated paper company has encouraged it to extend its operations into the competitive tissue conversion sector. Accordingly, Saudi Paper Converting Company was established to produce several consumer tissue paper products under the brand names Manadeel, Excellence, Mouchoir, Zaman, City, Pure and Weekend. The company's current capacity of 25 thousand tons is expected to double once the second paper converting factory becomes operational in late 2008.
