We have engaged in the technical development related to a surge protector one of communication incidental equipment for 40 years and we sell most of our products to Korea Telecom.Recently, due to rapid development and quantitative expansion in communication field, the equipment incidental to communication is not only becoming smaller and light more and more, but also raising its relia- bility by using lar- ge scale IC semiconductor devices. It is very difficult for the communication incidental equip-ment with such highspeed semiconductor devices to be insulated from lightening and voltage surge penetrated from the outside.Accordingly, to keep pace with increased communication demand we have developed self-release surge protector, a lightening arrester that safely protects electronic exchange system (TD, ESS) which provides quality information from various surge. We received much recognition in the superiority and economic efficiency by selling the self- release surge protector, a lightening arrester for about 30 million lines to Korea Telecom,our major customer, and won a Industrial Prize from the government on the 20th Science Day in recognition of the service for the national communication development. Also, We have rejected imitation and reproduction of foreign tecnology and con-centrated our efforts on the development of our own model. As a result, now we retain a total of 30 patents in the U.S., Belgium and within the country, and for the first time in the world acquired UL certification on surge protector, a lightening arrester.
