S.C. GECSAT S.A. has been established in 1918, as a result of giving stimulus to industry investments, and the short distance to suppliers of raw materials (soda ash, sand) and energy (methane gas).In 1995 occurred the privatization of the whole nominal capital (15 million USD), as a result of buying from the Romanian State of the entire corporate stock. The production has been refocused mainly on manufacturing thin glass (2 mm), which is required in the picture framing industry. In order for us to be able to offer a product with qualities matching closely the needs of our customers, we have made possible the acquisition of modern glass cutting machines, and also for processing and packing.Here is our glass product specification: - drawn glass 2 mm thickness (-0,3; + 0,1), size ranging from 9 x 13 cm up to 70 x 100 cm, 250 sqm/case.
