RoOz is the company of Australian jewellery designer Emily Burke, a jeweller for 16 years Emily returned to Australia with an innovative and difficult method in leather production.
Combining the raw earthy textures of Sterling Silver, Kangaroo and Stingray Leather, Emily has produced a stunning fashion accessory range featuring completely individual creations, every piece unique as a fingerprint.
The RoOz designs range provides the ideal gift for anyone who seeks out accessories which can be customised to their liking, the ancient body armour technique used to harden the leather also give it a distinctive personality (and maybe a little protection!).
Currently only a handful of people able to manipulate the leather in such a manner, Emily has been recognised by her peers the in design community being invited to present at the Brisbane event of the Pecha Kucha evening and a finalist at the 2007 Australian Tourism Exchange Memento Awards.
