The Chairman, Mr. Adrian Barnes, has been a koi-breeder for the last 30 years and a founder of the koi industry in Israel.Our Koi production takes place on our isolated and bio-secure farm in the Lower Galillee. We are independently monitored for health standards by the Israel Veterinary Services in Israel and CEFAS on our distribution centre in the UK. We market our koi through a select group of koi importers in Europe maintaining the same ideals of quality and health as ourselves.We believe at Rift Valley Koi (RVK) that the only long term future that there is for the koi hobby and the industry that supports it, is based on supplying customers with non KHV compromised koi so that confidence is restored.Our farm is supplied by an artesian well and all of our earth ponds are covered by 30 mm predator netting to prevent entry of birds into the bio-secure area.Our preparation procedures and pre-shipment schedule are rigorous and make all of our deliveries to date free of any unavoidable stress factors on the koi. Our methods take into consideration all of the precautionary aspects of reducing koi stress in transportation.All of our shipments of koi to our customers are based on the customer receiving the koi, acclimatising the fish and selling fish to local retailers with the same level of care that we supply the koi.
