RICEBRAN Corp. is a new start-up company established in 2005. Despite its short history, RICEBRAN stands proud as the best company in the field of rice bran, with its technical know-how on rice bran, accumulated for the last 6 years. Presently, the company is applying for 27 patents associated with rice bran. These patents are expected to be approved in the first half of next year.Last May, RICEBRAN concluded business deals with the RPC (Rice Processing Complex) association of Goseong National Agricultural Cooperative Federations in Goseong-gun of Gangwon Province, a blue belt area located on the northernmost coast of the East Sea. RICEBRAN is equipped with state-of-the-art raw material processing facilities in the RPC. With an annual production capacity of 100 tons, the firm commenced production last July.RICEBRAN produces soap (soap for morning use and soap for night time use) and body massage powder with bathing function using rice bran as the main ingredient. The firm also plans to release baby bath cream, mask packs, foam cleansers, and body cleansers by the end of this year.
