PRODO Group was established in 2004 and it is the largest national player on the highly fragmented Russian meat and poultry market, with the volume share of over 11% nationwide. PRODO is vertically integrated from production of high quality feed for pigs, cattle and poultry up to production of quality products with high proportion of fresh meat. Rapidly growing in all categories and expanding its distribution markets, PRODO continues to strengthen its position as a national meat company having wide geographical range of production facilities in several regions of Russia. Overall, PRODO Group consists of a national trading structure with 10 regional subdivisions, 10 meat processing plants, 6 poultry factories, 3 pig-breeding and growing facilities and 3 feed-production plants. Market geography of PRODO meat products is broad (over 20 regions), with the main sales volumes produced in the regions where production facilities are located. PRODO is the major player in its home markets, with dominant shares in Omsk (72%), Ufa (65%) and Tumen (50%) regions and significant shares in most others. In 2006 PRODO continued expansion of sales and distribution into the “neighboring” regions. The list of PRODO’s factories include meat-processing factories, poultry factories, mixed fodder mills, hog factories.PRODO production volumes are steadily growing since its incorporation, achieving over $700 mln. Local brands of PRODO are leading regional markets and well-known to the consumers. Growth of production over the last financial year was achieved in all PRODO factories, especially in Togliatti and Kaluga.
