Precision Bearings limited was initially established in 1972. It soon became a significant force in the local market, enjoying distributor agreements with NSK, Timken, Fafnir and Torrington.After twenty years as a bearing specialist, the company moved into power transmission in 1992 initially with belt drives and chain drives. Success in this field fuelled a hunger for growth, resulting in the acquisition of Fenner New Zealand Ltd in 1996.
