We are proudly introducing our brand new technology, double layer porous asphalt pavement with RSBS modifier AP mix. With 8mm(0.31inch) aggregates in 2cm(0.78inch)depth on the upper layer and 13mm(0.51inch) aggregates in 3cm(1.18inch) depth on the bottom layer, this double layered porous asphalt, total of 5cm;1.96inch layer, reduces about 9dB(A) of tire/pavement noise compare to usual asphalt pavement.The air voids created inside the mix is more than 22% so that it contributes much in decreasing traffic noise. Furthermore, since the RSBS(Radial type SBS) modifier improves the viscosity and the resilience of the mix, final durability can be enhanced. Due to small aggregates in the upper layer, dust can hardly clog the void so it gives longer lifespan of the pavement even with less number of cleaning procedure.
