Since 1930, the Ziober Family has been involved in the art of metallurgy. This tradition was continued by Paulo Ziober Junior, when he founded Ziober Metallurgical Equipment. In 2006, by invitation of the Maringa City Administration, in the State of Parana, Brazil. Ziober pioneered the production of Senior Outdoor Gyms, an innovative project which encompasses the whole of Brazil.
Presently, over 10.000 gyms have been installed throughout the country, providing the population with improved well-being and quality of life. Certified by ISO 9001:2008, thecompany continually seeks to improve and innovate in its production process. The facilities, covering an area of 12.000 m2, allow the company an internal organization focused
on production efficiency. Through the use of CNC machines in the conformation of tubes, as well as automatic welding robots state of the art technology for accurate metal work , it has become possible to create products of distinction.
The Senior Outdoor Gym was especially designed to stimulate and encourage people over 60 years of age to do physical exercise. The
Outdoor Gym, in general, was developed as an extension of this initial project. Together, they stimulate physical activity at all ages.
The stations provide exercises for strengthening, stretching and relaxing activities, in order to promote the flexibility and agility of most
muscles in the body. The projects are included in the city s health care program Maringa Saudavel as well as in the Brazilian nationwide
health care program.
These programs aim to improve the population s health and quality of life through physical exercise, nutritional care and the prevention of smoking.
The Ziober Outdoor Gyms can be installed in parks, plazas, condominiums, clubs, homes and any other suitable spaces. Together, both projects have been implemented in more than 3.000 cities throughout Brazil, a total of approximately 10.000 gyms.
