It sounds like a clich; but it is actually thetrue story, that PalletBiz started in a rented double-garage inKaunas, Lithuania in 1998 - the picture to the right proves it!Based on getting the technology and licenses from Denmark andselling the products back to Denmark we developed and moved intoour own more suited factory premises after the first two years ofoperation. Later the local market for used/reconditioned palletswas developed and we obtained good contracts with IKEA as a majorclient. Liking our approach, IKEA asked us to open production inRomania where good quality EUR-pallets were in short supply. InRomania we have achieved good relationships with several other highvolume users of packaging materials and we continue the developmentof a network of depots in all the country. By 2004 we had realizedthat our concept of doing business was interesting for otheroperators and partners and we have since then developed ourstructure in such a way that we are ready for franchising ournetwork into EMEA, which today is the primary focus area forexpansion. To a strong network of the best Many of our clients hasthrough the years developed a diversified need, based oncentralized procurement but with a multi-country call of fromvendors.
