In 2007 on one of the enterprises of corporation " Galev Ltd. " ("Oriana-Galev") was developed a new generation, environmentally friendly water-soluble vegetable oil-based metalworking fluid concentrate by the name EKOLUBE. This product - result of two-year-old search of a metalworking fluid which could change criteria describing present MWF.Industrial experiments have shown advantages of using EKOLUBE in comparison with other MWFs:It is not toxic (not harmful to health, does not demand special recycling, can be flushed down the drain); Not combustible; Using 2% solution of liquid (even in hard water); The metalworking fluid EKOLUBE can be applied in the following:mechanical engineering; metallurgy; construction; hydro systems of mining machine. In mechanical engineering and metallurgy concentrate EKOLUBE is used in grinding, cutting, boring, drilling, and turning metal. Successful tests are made at processing pig-iron, steel, the titan, stainless steel and heavy-duty aluminum.In construction concentrate EKOLUBE is used in greasing forms in ferro-concrete structures and steel-frame construction.
