Omni Environmental's Optical Microscopy Laboratory provides identification, optical characterization and quantification of Asbestos, Non-Asbestos Respirable fibers and Non-Fibrous Components of insulation and building materials, raw materials and manufactured products, dust, soil and various other sample matrices. Our expertise is backed by knowledge of fundamental crystallography and optical mineralogy as it applies to materials and asbestos analysis.
Our Asbestos Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) laboratory is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (30-0087) and accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP Lab Code 102061-0) for satisfactory compliance with criteria set forth in ISO/IEC 17025 and relevant requirements of ISO 9002.
