Our Center has existed as an independent research unit since 1971. For years our Center has been a leader in R&D units rankings. Recent years our Center has leaded at the production of high quality, petroleum-based chemical reagents as well as wide range of polyethylene foil products. Our Center has also leaded in the field of applied research for refinery and petrochemistry industries. Due to the restructuring process, executed in 1991-1995 and performed in order to develop small-scale production, OBR PR has the character of research & production center at the moment, where research and production departments operate separately.
