TradeVerifyNongsan Trading Co., Ltd. of Paprika, the leading producer and exporter of Korean paprika with advanced agricultural technology and products. Our company was founded in 1999 by 12 paprika cultivating cooperatives with the aim of exporting their products. Currently, members from 19 cooperatives have joined in the running of our company. Through join in our company the members get many advantages, because they can share information on paprika cultivation as well as marketing them. From the first exports of our paprika we have been very strict about quality and safety aspects. In order to make the cultivators take full responsibility for their products, a system of recording the details of cultivation and identifying the cultivators is being employed. With this system those cultivators can be identified who have not followed the cultivation guide-lines. When agricultural chemical residues are detected in some products and any paprika does not meet export standards, the cultivators are penalized.From the latter half the 2004, it has started to be marketed under the joint Korean brand name 'Whimori'. Whimori is the unique and high class agricultural product brand for safe cultivation, stable supply and reliable consumption. Whimori deals with the only quality agricultural products, which are produced by strict quality control from cultivation, harvest, grading, selection, packing and up to safety test. So our company expects that the band name will make people in other countries better aware of Korean paprika and it will eventually lead to the development of larger foreign markets for the crop.
