Ningbo Juhua Chemical & Science Co., Ltd. was founded in December 2005. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Juhua Group Corporation, one of the largest state-owned chemical industry bases in China. Situated in state-level Ningbo Petrochemical Economic & Technological Development Zone, our company is a leading producer of methane chloride (methyl chloride, methylene chloride, chloroform and carbon tetrachloride) and perchloroethylene in China. In 2011, our company achieved about USD190 million sales.
Great Output of Methane Chloride and Perchloroethylene
The methane chloride production capacity of our company is 200kt/a, and that of the whole Juhua Group Corporation reaches 440kt/a, topping the list of worldwide methane chloride production capacity.
The perchloroethylene production capacity of our company is 50kt/a, which ranks No. 1 in China and No. 4 in the world in terms of scale, technology and market share.
Our products have been exported to more than 20 countries including South Asia, Africa, South American, the Middle East, etc.
Strong Methanol Demand
As one of the raw materials, methanol is purchased nationally and internationally. Its demand is about 10kt/a.
Portside Geographic Location
Our company is located in Zhenhai, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, and the logistics hub port of sea-rail-highway combined transportation.
Zhenhai Port is the biggest liquid chemical wharf in China. The throughput of Zhenhai Port reached over 42 million tons in 2011.
Ningbo Port has 330 operating berths including 80 large berths of over 10,000dwt. It is the port that owns the most large and ultra large deep-water berths in China. In 2011, the cargo throughput was over 433 million tons, ranking the third in China and the sixth in the world.
