    NFI is a producer and supplier of exclusive Himalayan herbs and spices. NFI is involved in collection and cultivation of the herbs found in the high altitudes and indigenous Himalayan region of Nepal. Bunium Bulbocastanum and Carum Carvi are its current spices in collection, cultivation and production. Besides NFI is actively involved in plant research activities assisting the Nepalese farmers for their resource and information need for improved farming techniques. NFI has been able to build up a resource of thousands of hectare of land through its farmers network.NFI is a private limited company registered in the Company Register Office of the Government of Nepal. A team of professionals comprising of agriculture scientist, economists, botanists, technicians, financial experts and a large network of farmers run NFI. The team members having a long experience in enhancing Nepalese resources decided to join hands together with the above mission in 2003 July and NFI came into being.
