As the price and quality is the most important to us, we only use grade B teakwood in our production.
Some B grade teak components are coming from the outer part of the wood log, and gets a wood hardener to make the sapwood, from its own softer than A grade teakwood, harder. We give the B grade teakwood a non toxic, environmental friendly color homogenization treatment so the surface of the wood gets the look as A grade teakwood.
Because of its light color and durability normally only used for indoor purpose. So now available for outdoor use too! The wood looks now identical to A grade and is protected against weather influences like teak wood is from nature.
ATTENTION: Natural collection furniture has the same construction quality as A grade teak wood; we at Natural Teakdo not allow defects in the furniture like rotten wood, dead knots, pinholes or whatever! As well the craftsmanship and use of hardware is from the same level as we use for our A grade teak wood.
