It was home industry then. Currently also producing mica, raffia and by products of hdpe (t-shirt bags, trash bags, etc).It was awarded on World Environment Day 2015 for good environmental management of plastic waste. This award was granted again in World Environment Day 2016 by the provincial government.Naga Semut supplies most of its products for packaging in the food industry. It also supplies plastic rope for agriculture use. Its multi products which go by the same name with the company itself, Naga Semut, have been widely used by small and medium entrepreneurs across Indonesia, such wet market and food traders.
