Our Spinning mill M/s.Muthur Murugan Mills Limited is situated in Coimbatore, Annur which is 28 kms from the Coimbatore City in Mysore Road. It was started in 1989 by Mr.S.P.Chinnaraj and Mr. S.S.Rajkumar.
We Started the Spinning with 1 Open End machine Imported from Chez of Model BDA10 N ELITEX and were manufacturing 10s to 12s OE cotton yarn initially then in 1994 we moved to Ring Spinning Machines and initial Capacity installed was 6000 splds of DJ50 with complete new LR back process Project for Spinning Polyester Cotton blended Yarns only.
Currently we have 24000 splds of ring spinning and in 2011 we have installed Muratec Vortex Spinning from Japan of model MVS 861 and here too we are Spinning 20s PC blend of 65:35 for domestic and for Exports.
We have already placed order for next 4 MVS but due to the new version of MVS 870 we are waiting for the machinery delivery in February of 2012 as this new model is also introduced in Spain Barcelona Machinery exhibition in September 2011 by M/s.Muratec machinery.
We are into polyester cotton blended spinning for the past 15 yrs and in ring spinning we are into weaving warp quality yarn and we have a very good market share in Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra.
MVS yarn we are mainly focused into Knitting industry due to its yarn Properties and currently we are manufacturing 20s PC 65:35 blend and we can supply the Count from 20s PC to 24s PC blend, also we can consider other counts if the volume is good enough for us.
We have our own wind generation for our Spinning and for our Other Industries in Coimbatore and also we work on 24 x 7 except on the Declared National Holidays.
