MORAPEL S.J., which is located in central Malopolska region, hasspecialized from about 20 years in purchasing raw hides directlyfrom Polish slaughterhouses. Due to its location, the plant obtainsits raw materials mostly from ecologically clean mountain areaswhat guarantees excellent quality of goods in its offer. We haveour own refrigerated hook for storage and cooling of the hides. Thehides are salted in a traditional manner such as being twice salted(10-14 days salting cycle) and, having been sorted and trimmed byhigh-qualified specialists in the category in the skin of cows,heifers and bulls. Next stage is to palletising at appropriateintervals by weight, and export to European and Asian markets. Theentire process is carried out under veterinary supervision. Thereis no damage done by insects on the hides. We process over 40 percent of cowhides in Southern Poland. Our hides is used successfullyin the industry footwear, handbags, furniture and clothing.
