Sena Kalyan Sangstha(SKS) is a governement recognizeautonomous organization. Originated as Post War ServicesReconstruction (PWSR) Fund at the end of the World War II,renamed as the Fauji Foundation in 1953,and Sena Kalyan Sangstha in 1972. Constitutedas Charitable Trust incorporated under the CharitableEndowmwnts Act 1890 devoted exclusively to the welfareof ex-servicemen of the Armed Forces of Bangladesh andtheir dependants.Mongla Cement Factory is the largest industrial Unit ofSena Kalyan Sangstha. It stands on the river POSUR coveringan area of 10.66 acres of land. The factory has two Mills witha capacity of 65 and 35 M Tons per hour ofCement (OPC) and has started production in the year1994 and 2002 respectively.It is one of the oldest cement clinker grinding factoriesin the country with PLC and modern technology of packingand delivery system ***** computerized system including awell equipped laboratory.Process of Making Cement. MCF at present has got two millswith two separate packing sections. The production procedureis same in both the mills. The process of production cementis divided into three stages.a. Stage-I. Raw materials handling operation.b. Stage-II. Grinding operation and cement production.c. ***** storing, packaging and delivery.Raw materials of cement are Clinker, Gypsum, Slag, Fly Ash,and Lime Stone.
