Tyre producers transport costs to proposed collection depots will be cut by 60%Reduce the annual stockpiling of waste tyresReduce legacy waste tyre stockpiles nation-wideReduce the land site areas required at proposed collection depotsIn order to aid further recycling of the waste tyres, new sustainable jobs will be created by mines, tyre producers, tyre dealers and waste tyre stockpile owners. Each entity will have the opportunity to offer smaller business owners and previously disadvantaged individuals contracts to transport now manageable sections of rubber to various designated transfer depots recycling plants and eventually, cement manufacturers for use in their furnaces.
