Meltem ugurludural was educated in textile and clothing technology at stoll strick kurs and technische universitaet both in germany. After her education she started to work for her father at benteks which by that time was one of the largest textile production companies in turkey. Meltem was manager at benteks and was responsible for key accounts such as kaufhof, mexx, katag and tony dress.
In 1999 she launched mega textile consultancy and was agent for katag, kanz and joop. Today mega textile consultancy is a well known brand in the market due to its position as agent for global brands. Our clients are all foreign brands who want to benefit from the low-cost high quality turkish production line.
Our target is to deliver turn-key solutions to our clients. This means that we take full responsibility for design, production, quality control and shipment.
With one point of contact our clients will get the desired quality in time for their entire product line. Raw-material
For our clients we do suggest raw-material and do necessary tests for it. These tests include washing tests, stretch tests, color tests and shrink tests.
Price assessment
For our clients we work with leading producers in turkey and we make a complete market research. Our goal is always to meet our client's price targets; therefore we have a wide network of different producers. We send all offers to our clients as decision platform.
Design support
Our clients send us drawings and size tables which we present for the chosen producer. The production company's technical staff makes templates for all models which we then send back to client for approval.
Production control
Once every step is approved by client we launch the production. We do daily controls and tests to meet our client's goals. We work together with the producer to achieve the best result.
End control
When all products are finished we do end control. The end control makes sure that the quality of the products and volume is what our client demanded. The end control includes a deep control where we check for spots and other possible production problems. We do a sign off here and assure that the goods are good for shipment.
Shipment
Shipment procedure includes document handling and finding the best way to ship goods. Here we monitor shipment. We count boxes and label them accordingly to avoid custom issues. Every country has their own way of handling customs; therefore we work closely with our clients to make sure we do not make mistakes which will delay shipment.
