Pioneers in textile recycling
Lawrence M. Barry & Co (LMB) was established in 1985 and in 1997 was awarded the Queens award in recognition of their creation of overseas markets and contribution to UK exports.
LMB are based in London, England and collect approximately 170 tons of used clothing each week throughout the capital. LMB have over 700 recycling banks and work in partnership with London boroughs on door to door collections. The companies ideal location and experience ensures the highest quality of used clothing and shoes.
Contracted to many major British clothing retailers LMB also have a constant supply of new and rejected clothing, making LMB the first choice for used clothing.
LMB are members of the Textile Recycling Association (TRA) and Lawrence Barry, the founder member of the company was the former chairman and a founder member of Recyclatex, he has represented the TRA at the Bureau of International Recycling, Brussels.
