Kris Moe Wines started making wine in 1995, the same year the founder started his successful golf school business in Sonoma and Napa. His first year he produced a Zinfandal that won a Golf Medal in the Napa County Fair.
Kris Moe is a former PGA Tour player (played in six major championships and placed 25th in 1985 British Open) . His love for food and wine brought him to the wine country and soon after he began making wines for his own enjoyment. His favorite wines are blends of Cabernet, Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot.
By popular demand Kris Moe Wines got their licenses to sell wine in 2007. Release parties for their Cabernet, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay will be shared with his Nineteenth Hole Wine Club and distributors during golf's major championships.
At the present time wines are being submitted to popular media outlets for food and wine and entered in wine competitions.
