Filtration cycle is the hallmark of the entire process. Filtrationis carried out at gravity pressures. Liquid slurry is given in feeddistributor (Tag. 1.2) through feed valve (Tag. 1.1). First maximumliquid is filtered out by gravity. The rubber belt (Tag. 3) movescontinuously along with the filter belt (Tag. 2) so that the feedslurry moves forward to the vacuum filtration section (Tag. 4, 5).Here the vacuum pressure is applied to the slurry and maximumamount of ML is removed from the slurry. The slurry moves forwardto first wash section (Tag. 8, 11) of the system here it getswashed through the water continuously and gets sucked by vacuumpressure. This process is repeated three times (***** firstwash(Tag. 7), second wash(Tag. 10), third wash (Tag. 13) bycountercurrent washing. The slurry moves forward towards dryingsection (Tag. 14) where the slurry is maximum dried and moves fordischarge. After discharging the material, the belt move furthertowards belt washing section(Tag. 26) where belt gets cleaned andmoves for filtration.
