Karbosan is a specialized manufacturer of cutting and grinding discs. Founded in 1967 in Istanbul - Turkey as the Pioneer of the abrasive industry in Turkey. Since establishment , all the management and manufacturing forces of KARBOSAN are trying to fullfill the customers' requirements. Karbosan, employs meanwhile more than 500 employees.
Our product range includes a wide range of all types of resin and vitrified grinding wheels, cut-off discs, flap discs, flap wheels, fibre discs, portable belts, rolls and other abrasive products.
Today, KARBOSAN is operating two factories :
Sefakoy Plant - Istanbul : Manufacturing bonded abrasives , cutting and grinding discs and vitrified wheels in a plant of 42.000 m2 over 450 employees.
Velikoy Plant - Tekirdag : Manufacturing coated abrasives, fiber discs , waterproof sheets, rolls, belts and flap discs in a plant of 100.000 m2 with over 100 employees.
This structure allows serving the world wide market with a complete range of abrasive produts. Karbosan has gained a leading position on the Turkish market and a strong growing export through our distribution network. Meanwhile our products find their way to more than 50 countries worldwide.
