Company Introduction
In 2015, a new JV is set up between a an Uzkimyosanoat group company and a Chinese investor. JV serves as the owner of a NPK fertilizer plant. In the same year, EPC contract for the plant is awarded to the Chinese company.
The plant, with design capacity of 240,000 tons per year, is expected to be commissioned in January 2016. The project will be financed due to loans of the Uzbek commercial banks and JV's equity.
Uzbekistan is reported to possess all necessary raw materials natural gas, phosphorite and potassium salt and enterprises for their processing. Uzbekistan can became one of largest exporters of NPK fertilizers.
