The Indigenous People Economic Union represents the 31 Lumad (indigenous) Tribes of central and eastern Mindanao providing advice, services, and interface with governmentagencies and business interests. The central office is located Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, Caraga Region, with connections throughout the island of Mindanao.The IPEU is new to resources dealing but is expanding its knowledge and ability rapidly. Our major interest is in the area of renewable resources ---especially tropical timbers, but we also handle minerals in small-scale extraction operations.
