As a large-sized state-owned printer Tianwen's businesses range from book printing, newspaper printing, commercial printing and packaging printing to production of cultural goods. Covering an area of about 120,000 sqm. Tianwen now employees more than 1,000 staffs. As one of the most solid printers in Central South of China, Tianwen along with Central South Publishing & Media Group Co., Ltd, managed to be listed on A-share market in October 2010. The Company has many technologically advanced Kodak CTP for prepress, two newspaper industry CTP and two sets of digital workflow software, Beida Founder Flow and Kodak Prinergy, together with the high-end Heidelberg 3900 and 3400 drum scanner and Renaissance network scanner; three sets of high-end large-format laser image setter, large-format MOD and digital proofing press and other domestic and foreign first-class equipment. On color printing, the Company has many world-class full commercial and semi-commercial offset printing flexography and more than twenty sets of Heidelberg, KBA, Roland and Komori, etc. lithographic plate four-color, five-color and eight-color offset press. On book printing, the Company has fifteen sets of first-class multi-color and monochrome high-speed offset printing flexography, twelve sets of double-sided monochrome offset press. On newspaper printing, the Company has Swedish sauna D380, D388 and D600 and Shanghai Gaussian M40 tower-type offset press and other world-class multi-color newspaper offset printing flexography, which has twelve exits for newspapers coming out. On the post-press processes, the Company has more than seventy domestic and foreign advanced adhesive binding linkage line, hardcover linkage line, riding linkage line, folding machines, sewing machines and various post-press finishing equipment, such as Martini, Cole Booth, Wallenberg and Heidelberg, etc. Through the effective operations of seventeen ERP system modules and complete plant asset management software, the Company has full realized the production network and digital workflow management.
