Haznedar which is the first private sector establisment of Turkey, has been founded in Istanbul in 1929 to produce construction bricks and roof tiles.The fireclay refractories production has started of in 1933 to join the industriallisation programme of Turkey.A modernisation investment has taken placein 1967 to produce high quality refractories and kept itself up to date with the global technological innovation since them. In order to keep its name as the leader of the country Haznedar took all steps to give full response to its customers on time.As the natural result of this Haznedar has started to produce high quality magnesia carbon resin-bonded products since 1991.The refractory products of many different types and shapes have been produced and then quality is controlled in its laboratories and it is in touch with the technology apply its works. At the end of the year 2000 Haznedar started the production in its new innovated plant which was founded in an industrial a rea close to Istanbul.This plant was designed to produce basic, alumina and dolomite bricks at the same time but as three seperated lines.
