GArtym Crafts , formerly known as Bazaar casablanca , was founded in 1998 and specializes in hand crafted Moroccan goods . Morocco has a rich tradition of artisan work dating back to the middle ages. We are continuing that tradition by carrying crafts from different tribes in Morocco, such as the Berber, Twarag, Nomad and Bedwin. These crafts include mosaics, brass and tile work, ceramics, woodworking, weaving and carpet making.
The aim of Artym Crafts is to valorise and disseminate the cultural heritage of Morocco, with particular emphasis on the Hispano-Moorish period and concentrating, above all, on the mutual and fertile influences of the Mediterranean area throughout the centuries.
Some of the main objectives established by Artym Crafts :
- Making the Andalusian civilisation better known, through the craftsman's mastership of its beautiful art and objects and unique forms of design and architecture.
- Emphasizing on the role that Spain, Morocco, and Andalusia have played throughout history as the cultural bridge between the East and the West, as well as their relations with the Mediterranean and Latin-American countries
